As most of you know, I have been part of the Rye Y community since a child and now as an employee.  The Rye Y has a special place in my heart as this is the place where I learned how to swim.  If you know me, you know I am a water bug!!

Growing up, finances were not easy for my family and in order to continue participating in swim lessons and swim team, my family graciously received financial assistance from Y cares program.  Because of the Y helping my family pay for swim lessons, It allowed me  to love the sport and live for my passion, swimming and most importantly, teaching swimming! 

Help me reach my goal and help me, help other children and families be able to experience such a great program and facility!  Swimming is such a valuable skill I have learned and without the Y, I may not have been able to learn how to swim!  Help me give this life saving skill to other families and children in need!
