I am reaching out to you for support for our 2017 Annual Campaign which raises money for children and families that are unable to afford many of the wonderful programs at the Rye YMCA.  With your help though, we hope to surpass last year's goal of $455,000 in scholarship funds.  My individual goal if $500.  

Many people wonder why we work so hard to raise money for our community campaign?  The answer to that is "so that no one is turned away from the Y."  Its all about subsidizing each family plan.  Children love our camp but its somewhat expensive.  What a great experience it is for a child who is under deserved to attend the Rye Y camp. 

Not sure if you are aware, but we fully pay for programs like LiveStrong, which is a 12-week program for cancer survivors.  We also fully pay for our Diabetes Prevention Program.  Our senior program is a big hit and so are our swim programs.  Without support from the community, the great work we do would not go very far.
